This is a pure cotton traditional handmade tie and dye saree with block prints from the state of Tamil Nadu with the body of the saree having orange base and brown pallu with zari stripes. The contrast big border is embelished with peacock motifs in zari thread and the narrow border has floral motifs. The body of the saree has beautiful block prints of peacock and creepers of colourful flowers and leaves. Sungudi sarees are known for their unique tie dye and block print patterns.
