White and green tie & dye Sungudi cotton saree. This is a traditional tie and dye handloom cotton saree from the district of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The body of the sari has floral motifs on white base and green border with zari floral motifs.
The pallu is green with zari stripes giving the sari a sober look. This is a 100% cotton fabric and the saree is starched at the time of dying for a crisp feel. For those who prefer soft sarees, it can be draped without starch after a wash.
