White and blue tie & dye Sungudi cotton saree. This is a traditional tie and dye handloom cotton saree from the district of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The body of the sari floral motifs on white base and blue border with zari motifs.
The pallu is blue with zari stripes giving the sari a beautiful contrast. This is a 100% cotton fabric and the saree is starched at the time of dying for a crisp feel. For those who prefer soft sarees, it can be draped without starch after a wash.
