Our traditional Madurai Sungudi sarees are lovingly handwoven, dyed, and sun-dried along riverbanks. It's natural to find occasional smudges or starch stains, but please don't see these as flaws—they easily wash off. Supporting us means supporting the livelihood of our weavers' families, so we kindly ask you not to return the sarees for minor imperfections.

For washing, these sarees come with a starch coat for crispness, which washes off when the saree is habdwashed for the first time to reveal their true softness. Please remember to gently hand wash only and limit soap water immersion to 10 minutes. Always dry them in the shade, not direct sunlight, to keep them looking great for years.
